
Any student who is a sibling or lives in the same household as a FB player or cheerleader may be excused to leave school at 10am if: the parent must send a note that includes the student's name, relationship to player, parent signature, and a number to be called to verify.

The Decatur County Needy Children's Fund will start taking applications now through December 12 at 4:00 PM. If you feel your family is in need this Christmas, the form can be filled out at the Decatur County Board of Education Building in Decaturville. The building is located at 59 West Main St. Your family must reside in Decatur County, school age children must be enrolled in Decatur County Schools, and not receiving help from any other organization. These are the Stadium Policies for the stadium we will be in this Saturday. For the students, especially take notice of the bag policy. As stated in class today, you can't just carry any bag into the stadium.
"All teams, coaches, and fans are subject to the stadium policies of Finley
Stadium. Finley Stadium has a clear bag policy that will be enforced.
Only one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12
inches or a one-gallon, transparent, resealable plastic storage bag per
person will be permitted. Fans will also be allowed a small clutch purse not
to exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
No other bags will be allowed inside Finley Stadium. All items, including
clear bags and clutch purses, are subject to search at the gates. Fans
will be required to empty pockets and pass through metal detectors
before entering the stadium.
The following items are strictly prohibited from entry:
- Anything that would obstruct another patron’s view, or cause a
disruption (noisemakers, selfie sticks, fireworks, speakers)
- Professional Cameras with detachable lenses
- Pop-up tents
- Folding chairs
- Drones (Finley Stadium's campus is a NO FLY ZONE)
- Weapons of any kind
- Animals, except those performing a service
- Bags larger than 4.5" by 6.5"
- Outside food or drinks
- Stadium chairs with armrests/pockets
- Full Umbrellas (collapsible umbrellas are acceptable)
- Laser pointers
- Radios without headphones
- Any other item that Finley Stadium security personnel deem a
public safety risk, public nuisance and/or otherwise negatively
impact the game or the spectator experience
Tents are not allowed in the stands. Weather delays will be determined by
TSSAA personnel."

Ticket information for the TSSAA State Championship Game Saturday! Please note that if you buy your ticket on GoFan by Wednesday at 11:59pm Riverside will get a portion of the ticket sale!
Tickets for the BlueCross Bowl will be $12.00 per day if purchased in advance on GoFan, or $15.00 per day if purchased with cash at the gate. Parking tickets will be sold on-site for $10 per day cash only. Teams will receive a percentage of the tickets presold for their school on GoFan as part of their revenue share. The presale period will be from now to Wednesday, November 30 at 11:59pm EST. Your spectators will just need to select your school's name from the GoFan ticket link for your day for your school to receive credit.

The Decatur County School System is seeking applications for Custodial Workers. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED prior to employment and successfully pass a TBI fingerprint background screening. Applications may be picked up at the Board of Education Office, filled out online, or downloaded from www.decaturcountyschools.com under the Employment tab, Noncertified Application, and should be sent to Hugh Smith, Human Resources, at Decatur County Board of Education, 59 West Main Street, Decaturville, TN 38329 or emailed to hugh.smith@decaturschools.org. The deadline for submitting an application is December 16, 2022.

RHS Panthers will be playing for the State Championship in Chattanooga on Saturday, December 3rd at 3:00pm!

The Fall End-of-Course (EOC) testing window will begin on Tuesday, November 29 and go through Friday, December 9. Students have been sent their testing schedules through their school email. Reminders will go out on Monday, November 28. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Heather Hopper at RHS.

Congratulations to the RHS Panthers on their semi-final win over Huntington tonight! They will play next Saturday for the state championship in Chattanooga! Great job, boys!!
