Christmas Break will be December 17th- January 3rd. Students will return on January 4th. All offices will be closed until January 3rd. Have a very Merry Christmas!


Today at our central office luncheon and meeting, we said goodbye to Ms. Ginger Teague, our coordinated school health leader. We will miss Ms. Ginger and wish her luck in her retirement and future endeavors!


Congratulations to our Conduct of Chapter Meeting team for placing 1st in our District and 4th In West TN. Team members include Alexis Moncada, Brock Smith, Tayler King, Ruby Waldrop, Holly McFall, Dameon Gore, and Grace Wyatt.


The RHS dance team recently presented the Carl Perkins Center with toys they purchased. These toys will go to children served by the center as Christmas gifts this year. We are very proud of our students for doing this and giving back to the community this Christmas!

Congratulations to our Riverside FFA Parliamentary Procedure team for making it to the finals in their regional competition! Good luck in finals Thursday, team!

With the cancellation of tonight's Parsons Christmas Parade, there will be a special recognition of the Riverside football team at the Parsons Fire Department (at the end of the Parsons Municipal Building) at 5pm. Free chili, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and water will be served. Food will be served starting at 4pm. Come out and congratulate the team on their historic season!

The DCSS is seeking both a certified History Teacher (required 7-12 History endorsement and TN teaching license) and a teaching assistant. All must pass a background check through the TBI. Parents and Guardians: Your student will be bringing home a lunch account balance on Monday. Please check with your student and try to get the lunch accounts cleared up before Christmas break! Thank you and have a great Sunday!

The Decatur County Band program will host their Christmas concert this Thursday, 12/8 at 7:00pm in the Riverside gymnasium. Come out and support our band!

Good Luck to the Riverside Panthers in the State Championship today! You can cheer the Panthers on from home by tuning in online to News Channel 5+. The game will be on at 2:00pm central!


We want to wish the Riverside Panthers Good Luck on their final match tomorrow in the state championship! They will play for the title on Saturday at 3:00pm. We also want to wish safe travels to all of the players, cheerleaders, dance team, band and parents on their trip up!
