
Due to rising sickness, school will be closed Monday and Tuesday 12/18-12/19. On Friday, 12/14, schools will finish testing and have Christmas parties and activities. We hope this allows everyone to get well in time for Christmas!

DES Christmas Program tonight at 5:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 5:00.
K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th will perform (and some grades perform together).
We ask that students remain for the duration of the program.
It will also be streamed on FaceBook to help accommodate anyone that cannot attend.

The Decatur County Bands' Christmas Concert has been postponed due to the number of students who are sick and unable to perform. This will be rescheduled in January once we return to school. Thank you for your understanding!

Due to bus driver shortage, students riding bus 8 will be late getting dropped off. They were held at school u til another driver finished their route but are on their way home now!

The Decatur County School System is seeking a baby teacher for Little Panthers Preschool to begin after Christmas Break. This person would be responsible for the day to day operations in the baby classroom including feeding, changing, and activity. FCCLA students are hosting a cooking party on Dec. 15 5:30 to 9:00. Registration is open to 2nd through 4th grade and is limited to 25. Cost is $25. To register scan the QR code or email lorrie.king@decaturschools.org


Community Resource Fair will take place on 12/5 from 1-5 pm in the fellowship hall at Trinity Assembly of God in Decaturville. They will also be collecting shelf stable food for the DCSS backpack program. Please see the attached picture for all the information!
