The basketball game tonight at Riverside High School will be played at the regular time at 6:00pm. The gate will open at 4:00pm. It will be the regularly scheduled Senior Night!
For DCMS 7th grade students. The Balfour representative will be at DCMS next Thursday, February 9th at 7:30 am. The deposit is $40.
Afterschool will still be CLOSED on Friday, February 3rd. There will be no afterschool or smart school tomorrow at any schools.

Due to the possibility of hazardous driving conditions with refreezing of roads and fallen trees, a decision has been made to cancel school for Friday, February 3rd. This decision was made after discussion with EMS, School Transportation Supervisor, School Safety Director, and Decatur County School Board Members.
Since school will not be in session tomorrow, February 2nd, the County 4-H contest has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 9th. The contest will still be held at DCMS.
Because the National Weather Service has extended the Ice Storm Warning for Decatur County through Thursday 6:00 am, Decatur County Schools and the Afterschool Programs will be closed Thursday, February 2nd.
SPIN night at DCMS has been cancelled. There is no school Jan. 31st or Feb. 1st. Stay safe.
Decatur County Schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to the Winter Storm Warning from 6pm-noon tues. Tomorrow’s basketball with Adamsville has been been postponed. Afterschool and all other school activities need to be out of the school by 6:00 pm. All activities are cancelled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
