The Decatur County School System is accepting applications for the position of Parsons Elementary Extended School Program Director for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must be 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Applicants must also successfully pass a TBI Fingerprint Background check as well as complete a physical by a Licensed Physician. DCMS is excited to announce Ms. Haley Harris as our incoming softball coach! Ms. Haley’s expectation of excellence in the classroom is sure to translate well to the field. With years of high school experience and coaching experience, Ms. Haley brings knowledge and passion to the game. As a teammate right here at Riverside High School, she was a part of the 2011 State Championship team and 2012 State Runner-up. Harris’ coaching experience includes coaching and umpiring in our county league program. As our newest coaching staff hire, Ms. Haley says she hopes and plans, “to positively influence and impact the entirety of the softball program in Decatur County.”
