Students at Parsons Elementary enjoyed the annual Halloween Reading Night and Trunk or Treat. This year was bigger than ever with around 500 people in attendance. Students enjoyed reading with their parents while making and eating smores and then came outside to trunk or treat. Students were able to visit each of the well decorated cars while playing games, receiving candy, as well as books and socks from Save the Children, and spend quality time with their families! Decatur County is grateful for each individual that took time to participate, donate candy, or decorate a car to make this special for our students!
