PAWS

Students at Parsons Elementary School enjoyed their nine weeks reward day which is based on academics and good behavior.  This program, PAWS, which stands for Practice responsibility, Act respectfully, Work hard, and Stay safe, is part of the behavioral intervention program required by state law, RTI2-B.  Students that have shown good behavior and have done well in their classes were able to participate in this activity day the Friday before Fall Break.  Students had a fun filled day with hay rides, s'mores, face painting, games, extra recess, and a cake walk.  Students with perfect attendance for the 2021-2022 school year were recognized with brand new bicycles!  Students and staff enjoyed this celebration day together and are looking forward to PAWS day in December! Thank you to everyone in the school system and community that helped to make this day a success for our students!
