On Thursday, September 8th, 2022, Decatur County Schools had the privilege of celebrating some of the treasures of the education system. These wonderful lifelong educators retired at the end of the 2021-2022 school year and served together a cumulative 138 years in education. We are so proud to have called them ours and we wish them well in their retirement.!

Ms. Lea Glass served in education for 31 years, 7 months, and 17 days.
Ms. Lesia Brewer served In education for 24 years, 9 months, and 12 days.
Ms. Bonnie Goff served in education for 50 years, 3 months, and 16 days.
