Welcome back, Ms. Katherine Reeves! Mrs. Katherine has taught for Decatur County Schools in the past. However, her time was unexpectedly cut short due to a variety of health complications following the birth of her daughter. After a long health battle, including a bone marrow transplant, she is doing fantastic and headed to Kindergarten! She gives God all the praise for healing in order for Ms. Katherine to go back to the classroom! We are ever so excited she is back with us.
Ms. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and desires to one day obtain her Master’s Degree. She states she is “looking forward to getting to know my sweet students and working with some amazing fellow Decatur Co educators! As a Pre-K Inclusion teacher, I have a unique role; I work with students at both PES and DES. Pre-K lays the foundation, and I'm honored to play a small role in preparing my students for success!”
Ms. Katherine is married to her college sweetheart! They live in Parsons with their four kiddos- Weston (13), John Patton (7), Evie Carol (5), and Doss (3). Her life revolves around her family, and she states she “wouldn't have it any other way!” Her favorite activity is spending time with family, where they enjoy traveling, swimming, grilling, and planning their next adventure!
Welcome back, Ms. Katherine! Decatur County Schools is delighted to have you return. You are truly a treasure to our community, and we look forward to the wonderful contributions you'll continue to make.
