Decatur County Schools is proud to announce Ms. Kodi Breeden as Riverside High School Assistant Principal for the 2024-25 school year. Breeden, who obtained a Bachelor of Education from UT Martin, a Master of Education from Union University, and an Education Specialist degree also from Union, is beginning her 14th year in Decatur County Schools. She has taught math courses at Parsons Elementary, Decatur County Middle, Riverside High, and UTM-Parsons. For the past 6 years, she has served as the K-12 Math Coordinator for the district.

Ms. Kodi states she is “really excited about the direction in which Riverside High School is heading. We have lots of great opportunities for our students and continue to expand our offerings. We also have a wonderful faculty and staff at RHS. I'm looking forward to being a part of that positive culture and contributing to school leadership in a way that impacts student growth.”

Breeden has one daughter, Kash, who will be in first grade at Decaturville Elementary this fall. In her downtime, she enjoys reading books and watching football.

Throughout her tenure in Decatur County Schools, Ms. Kodi has been a tremendous asset in each role she’s held. We anticipate continued success as she transitions into her new position.
