Federal Programs - Every Student Succeeds Act

Decatur County Schools receives funds under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) to provide a variety of programs throughout the school system. ESSA funds are appropriated to each of the schools within the county and used to fund not only salaries, but also many of the supplementary instructional programs found within our schools. Parental engagement is a critical component of programs funded by ESSA.

The following programs are provided in Decatur County Schools as a part of Every Student Succeeds:
